Hello again, coloring enthusiasts! Today we have reviewed three more brands of marker for your consideration, so let’s jump right into it!
Abeier (below): Medium quality water-based marker. Extremely cheap ($25 for 100 Abeier markers / $30 for 150 Abeier markers), brush tip and liner tip, tends to bleed a bit when laying down color. Comes with a fabric container. In the listing is a color guide that shows which shades are lightly pigmented and best for shading (multiple-layer coloring) and which are highly pigmented and best for single-layer coloring. The highly pigmented colors tend to streak quite a bit.

hhhouuu (below): High quality water-based marker. Fairly cheap ($40 for 150 hhhouuu markers), brush tip and liner tip, only bleeds when laying down dark and vibrant colors. Comes in a sturdy cardboard box, with a cardstock color guide for you to fill in and a doodling pad. hhhouuu markers don’t streak quite as badly as the Abeier markers, and the colors are vibrant and diverse.

ShuttleArt (below): High quality alcohol-based marker. Fairly cheap ($27 for 60 ShuttleArt markers), chisel tip and fine tip, bleeds very heavily. Comes in a fabric bag, with a very light grey blender, which helps ease the transition between different colors in a single space, which is great for shading. Great for coloring, but you will probably need to put some kind of plastic slip behind your coloring page if you don’t want it to bleed through several pages!

When it comes to convenient coloring, we would have to most strongly recommend the hhhouuu brand markers, but the ShuttleArts are beautiful as well! As stated before, just be sure to have something on hand to protect your later coloring pages from getting bled through.
We hope this gave you some inspiration for which brand of marker you’d like to try next, and as always, Happy Coloring!
